Job summary

ABLE, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Director to provide strategic and operational HR leadership. You will shape workforce planning, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, and compliance across the organization.

The role requires collaboration with senior leadership, strong knowledge of employment laws, and the ability to manage budgets, train staff, and guide organizational culture toward high performance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in HR or business administration required.
• 5+ years of leadership in HR.
• Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs and develop best practices for hiring and talent management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR goals with strategy.
• Plan, lead, develop, and implement policies, processes, and surveys to support HR strategy.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, leave, employee relations, and performance management.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and adjust policies accordingly.
• Manage the HR department budget and professional development for HR staff.
