Qualifications

  • Experience managing recruitment strategies and talent development.

Responsibilities

Human Resources Director

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits strategy, compliance, and learning and development initiatives. The HR Director will partner closely with senior leadership to support the organization’s people strategy, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.


Key Responsibilities


  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute the organization’s human resources and talent strategy, including workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession planning.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on complex and sensitive HR matters, including employee relations issues, investigations, accommodations, and terminations.

  • Oversee the full talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.

  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify hiring needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends and recommend competitive programs to attract and retain top talent.

  • Develop and implement employee learning and development programs that support professional growth and internal mobility.

  • Lead employee relations processes including disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance management.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with best practices.

  • Perform additional HR leadership duties as needed to support organizational objectives.


Leadership & Reporting

This position has direct oversight of the Payroll & Benefits Manager, Employees Relations Manager, Corporate Recruiter, HR Generalist and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 7 years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership experience

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations

  • Experience managing recruitment strategies and talent development initiatives

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
