Job summary

Vector Talent Solutions in Washington state seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic and operational partner to leaders across Vector Force Development, Vector Services, and Vector Talent Solutions.

You will provide trusted HR partnership across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience with employee relations and manager support.
• Experience handling workplace investigations, performance management, and corrective action.
• Experience with workforce planning, talent management, and organizational change.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment requirements; multi-state HR experience preferred.
• Strong judgment, communication, relationship-building, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner to assigned leaders, understanding operations and workforce priorities.
• Provide practical HR guidance balancing employees, business objectives, policy, and legal requirements.
• Coach leaders on engagement, accountability, and effective leadership practices.
• Advise on workforce changes, employee matters, and people-related risks.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve business and employee effectiveness.
• Own employee relations matters, investigations, and performance discussions.
• Coach managers through corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
• Review proposed actions for documentation, risk, and policy alignment.
• Monitor turnover, retention, headcount, and other HR metrics; translate data into insights.
• Support HR audits, policy updates, reporting, and strategic HR initiatives.
