Job summary

Kimball International is seeking an experienced MCR Human Resources Business Partner to align people strategies with operational priorities. You will provide strategic and operational HR support across employee relations, performance management, leaves, and organizational effectiveness.

As a trusted advisor, you will coach leaders, guide investigations, support compensation planning, succession, and staffing, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and L&D to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and performance management.
Experience handling complex employee-relations matters and advising leaders.
Experience interpreting employment laws and applying HR policies.
Experience with HRIS and talent management systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary HR contact for assigned business units and provide guidance to leaders and employees.
Advise on employee relations issues, performance concerns, corrective actions, investigations, and policy interpretation.
Coach managers on HR principles, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and leadership practices.
Collaborate to execute performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
Support succession planning, talent assessment, and staffing strategies.
Assist with compensation planning, merit increases, and internal equity.
Utilize HR metrics to identify trends and support business decisions.
