Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Abilene, TX is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with assigned business units, provide strategic HR consulting, and advance organizational effectiveness.

You will lead talent development, drive change, and coordinate HR initiatives across recruiting, onboarding, and policy execution in a non-union, on-site plant. Strong stakeholder management and KPI tracking are essential for success.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 6 years with a master’s degree, or PhD with 3 years of experience, or equivalent work experience.
Prior Manufacturing experience.
Experience working in an environment with multiple HR responsibilities - Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, etc.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, high-impact HR projects end-to-end with limited oversight.
Mentor junior HR professionals and review outputs for quality assurance.
Collaborate on the development of strategic operational roadmaps and monitor KPIs.
Identify workflow inefficiencies and champion automation to drive improvements.
Evaluate and redesign SOPs to meet evolving business needs.
Build and sustain relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders and negotiate to align expectations.
