Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Abilene, TX is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with plant leadership and drive organizational effectiveness through strategic HR initiatives. Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree
• Or 6 years with a master’s degree
• Or PhD with 3 years of experience
• Or equivalent work experience
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Experience in an environment with multiple HR responsibilities - Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, etc.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Leads complex, high-impact projects end-to-end with limited oversight, defining scopes and milestones.
• Talent Development & Mentorship: Mentors junior HR professionals, delegates work effectively, reviews output for quality.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Develops strategic operational roadmaps and translates objectives into action plans, monitors KPIs.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Identifies workflow inefficiencies, analyzes data, and champions automation.
• Innovation & SOP Redesign: Evaluates SOPs and designs innovative solutions for business needs.
• Stakeholder Relations & Negotiation: Builds robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
