Job summary

Coupang is seeking a Principal HR Business Partner in Seattle to align people strategies with business goals and to build capabilities across the organization. You will advise frontline managers and senior leaders, shaping talent, organizational growth, and people plans with a hands-on advisory approach.

You will coach teams, address employee relations, and drive workforce planning, leadership development, and performance management to enable a high-performing culture at Coupang.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience with high-growth tech or matrixed units.
• Strategic vision to translate business strategy into impactful people programs.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills across managers to senior leaders.
• Proactive problem-solving with ability to spot trends and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership to design people strategies aligned with long-term goals.
• Assess structures and skills to build high-performing teams and efficiency.
