Confidential, a national professional services firm, is building out its people infrastructure and seeks an HR Business Partner. This hybrid role is based in California, with three days in the office per week and travel ≈25%.

You will partner with branch managers across multiple locations to strengthen culture, manage workforce planning, employee relations, and performance processes. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution, including offers, recruiting support, and HRIS

Our client, a national professional services company, is building out the people infrastructure to support its next stage of growth and is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its team. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this hybrid role is based in the office three days per week and involves approximately 25% travel.

The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner to Branch Managers across multiple branches. This is a high-visibility role for someone who can strengthen culture across a dispersed organization while staying close to the day-to-day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with and challenge branch manager on workforce and job planning, employee relations, performance management and workplace practices
• Use workforce data and metrics to build business cases and drive recommendations
• Own hands-on execution, including offer letters, recruiting support and HRIS upkeep
• Act as a culture carrier across a geographically dispersed, multi-state team

IDEAL PROFILE

• Experienced HRBP with strong business acumen and a track record of influencing operators and pushing back when needed
• Data-driven, comfortable using metrics to shape recommendations
• Equally effective at strategy and tactical execution in a lean, scrappy environment
• Autonomous self-starter who navigates change well
• Multi-site or field operations experience preferred

The position offers a competitive base salary plus a meaningful annual performance bonus, along with a 401(k) with company match and PTO.
