Job summary

Hexagon Agility is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for our Salisbury, NC facility. The role aligns business objectives with employees and management, partnering across HR functions to deliver value-added services that reflect the company’s goals.

The HRBP will maintain business literacy about the unit’s financial position, midrange plans, culture and competition, while coaching and mentoring others in the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Strong knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal/state employment laws.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply laws, guidelines, regulations and policies.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective investigations.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
• Works with management and employees to improve work relationships, morale, and productivity.
• Provides guidance on HR policy and interpretation.
• Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
• Input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
