Job summary

Aecon Energy Group Inc. is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic and operational partner to business leaders and employees across its expanding operations.

This hands‑on role covers the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and organizational development. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will drive workforce planning, leadership coaching, and compliance while balancing organizational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a comparable field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in construction, engineering, energy, industrial, federal contracting, or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience conducting employee relations investigations and resolving complex workplace concerns.
• Experience supporting performance management, workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business units and operational leaders.
• Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
• Develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools for workforce planning and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive workforce growth, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
• Support compensation analysis, market pricing, internal equity reviews, and organizational structure assessments.
• Assist with leave administration, accommodations, and related employee matters.
• Supervise HR staff and provide coaching and development support to team members.
