Job summary

USA DeBusk is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to assigned operations, focusing on employee relations, development, and compliance. This role reports to the HR Director and collaborates with frontline managers to guide policies and workforce planning.

The ideal candidate will bring agility, adaptability, and strong judgment in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and project management skills. Based in Deer Park, TX, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5+ years of HR experience, including HRBP or strategic HR role.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state laws across multiple states.
• Experience supporting Operations in a blue-collar environment.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and with the HR team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, laws, and best practices.
• Protect interests of employees and the company per HR policies and laws.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Handle employee relations counseling, disciplinary actions, separations, and exit interviews.
• Maintain employee databases; prepare reports for management.
• Develop HR policies; advise on procedures and documentation.
• Identify and resolve problems; gather and analyze information; propose solutions.
• Lead and participate in HR-related projects.
