The ideal candidate will bring agility, adaptability, and strong judgment in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and project management skills. Based in Deer Park, TX, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including HRBP or strategic HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws across multiple states.
  • Experience supporting Operations in a blue-collar environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with the HR team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, laws, and best practices.
  • Protect interests of employees and the company per HR policies and laws.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Handle employee relations counseling, disciplinary actions, separations, and exit interviews.
  • Maintain employee databases; prepare reports for management.
  • Develop HR policies; advise on procedures and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve problems; gather and analyze information; propose solutions.
  • Lead and participate in HR-related projects.

  • Prior employee relations experience is strongly preferred, including conducting investigations, managing disciplinary processes, and advising managers on complex employee matters.

Summary/Objective:

Under the guidance of the HR Director, the HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to assigned business units, with a primary focus on supporting Operations. This role carries out responsibilities across the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, organizational development, and employment. The HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to operations leaders and front-line managers, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters, workforce planning, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate agility, adaptability, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role is highly collaborative and requires strong judgment, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. This is an Individual Contributor role based in Deer Park, TX.

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions.
  • Leads and participates in HR-related projects as needed.
