Job summary

MTM in St. Louis seeks a Project Manager, Enterprise Security Compliance to lead the Enterprise Security Compliance PMO and manage audits like HITRUST for client security and technology assessments.

You’ll guide a team, develop templates, manage budgets and timelines, coordinate internal resources, and ensure milestones are met while maintaining strong stakeholder communications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PMO and project management experience in security/compliance.
• Experience with HITRUST or similar certifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance for direct reports.
• Manage Enterprise Security Compliance PMO intake & portfolio process.
• Develop and manage project processes & SOPs.
• Create and maintain compliance PMO templates.
• Prioritize projects and manage schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Coordinate internal resources and project deliverables/documentation.
• Ensure milestones are met and manage remediation as needed.

What will your job look like?

The Project Manager, Enterprise Security Compliance, is responsible for management of the Enterprise Security Compliance Project Management Office. This role will manage compliance and security related activities and formal projects as well as assist with and/or managing Audit & Compliance initiatives for certification efforts such as HITRUST, and recurring/annual client security & technology assessments.

What you’ll do:

• Provide daily guidance for direct reports

• Manage and maintain the Enterprise Security Compliance PMO project intake & portfolio management process / solution

• Develop and manage project processes & standard operating procedures

• Develop & maintain compliance project management templates

• Develop, implement and manage a project prioritization process

• Manage and facilitate a project management professional development and training plan based on project management institute and agile alliance standards

• Manage project management processes within tools and technology

• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and within scope

• Conduct and manage project status reviews on a regular basis

• Provide management of client security and technology assessments and other compliance requests as assigned

• Manage compliance process improvement initiatives as assigned

• Ensure that all project milestones as established are met as scheduled and manage remediation efforts as required

• Manage and elevate project concerns, with potential solutions in an appropriate and timely manner

• Develop and implement a protocol for project and compliance meetings for both internal and external stakeholders

• Coordinate internal resources by developing detailed project plans and supporting project deliverables/documentation

• Assist with Internal and external client and partner organization initiatives

• Facilitate and complete internal and external compliance requests

• Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of project management and security compliance trends and industry standards

• Establish and manage formal Compliance PMO to develop and foster relationships with all MTM functional departments

• Manage compliance projects as assigned

What you’ll need:

Experience:

• High school Diploma or GED

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience

• 5 to 10 years Project Management experience

• Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required

• Previous Compliance Auditing Experience Required (HITRUST etc.)

Skills:

• Advanced working knowledge of project management processes and standards

• Working knowledge of agile project management processes (waterfall)

• Working knowledge of compliance and auditing processes and initiatives

• Understanding and working knowledge of compliance certifications such as HITRUST, URAC, SOC, B-Corp, and others

• Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Regulations

• Ability to manage others and provide work direction and support to accomplish project and organizational objectives

• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Atlassian Confluence & Jira applications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other Gantt Chart applications

• Familiarity with risk management concepts and principles

• Ability to accomplish assignments individually and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational and people skills

• Exemplary communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-pace, dynamic environment

• Sense of urgency to accomplish activities efficiently and effectively as assigned both planned and unplanned

• Ability to maintain an elevated level of confidentiality
