Job summary

The Battery Park City Authority (BPCA) is seeking an HR Operations & Analytics Specialist to transform workforce data into actionable insights and streamline HR processes across the organization. You will develop dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and HR systems, maintain data accuracy, and support HR programs from recruitment to benefits, contributing to an enhanced employee experience at BPCA.

• Five years of HR experience with strong reporting and analytics expertise.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and Power BI for dashboard development.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, DocuSign, and document workflows.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to handle confidential information and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop workforce dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Excel, Power BI, and HR systems.
• Analyze trends in recruitment, retention, turnover, demographics, engagement, and training.
• Maintain data accuracy and prepare workforce, compliance, benefits, and learning reports.
• Update organizational charts and provide insights to support leadership decisions.
• Support and optimize HR systems, automate tasks, streamline workflows, and improve processes.
• Develop and maintain HR forms, procedures, workflows, and documentation.
• Support system upgrades, testing, employee training, and technology adoption.
• Maintain HR SharePoint resources.
• Process employee transactions (hires, promotions, salary changes, status changes, separations) and assist with time-off requests and reporting.
• Maintain confidential personnel and training records; coordinate approvals via DocuSign and benefits reconciliation.
