Job summary

Informa Group Plc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Hotel Contracting & Sourcing Manager to lead strategic hotel sourcing and contract negotiations for events. The role collaborates with the Event Housing Manager and Show teams to implement data-informed strategies that boost housing outcomes.

Onsite presence in an Informa office is required three days a week with some travel. This role emphasizes relationship management with hotel partners and global sales teams to optimize bookings and mitigate

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in hotel sourcing, contract negotiations, hotel sales, or meeting planning.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hotel brand characteristics and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical performance, market dynamics, and trends to inform sourcing decisions.
• Develop a Statement of Work for each event with clear hotel strategies.
• Tailor hotel sets to event profiles and market conditions for optimal performance.
• Negotiate hotel contracts while adhering to company best practices.
• Align with stakeholders to meet revenue goals and minimize risk.
• Build relationships with Hotel Global Sales, divisions, properties, and CVBs.
