Job summary

Informa in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Hotel Contracting & Sourcing Manager to lead strategic hotel portfolios and high-value contract negotiations for events. You will partner with Event Housing and Show teams to implement data-informed strategies, align with housing goals, and drive measurable results.

The role requires onsite presence three days per week, travel as needed, and a minimum of five years in hotel sourcing or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in hotel sourcing, contract negotiations, hotel sales, or meeting planning.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hotel Sourcing & Strategy Development: analyze data, market dynamics, and trends to inform sourcing decisions.
• Develop a Statement of Work for each event defining hotel selection strategies.
• Provide hotel sets tailored to event profiles and market conditions for optimal performance.
• Contract Negotiation & Risk Mitigation: negotiate hotel contracts and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Consult with stakeholders to align with revenue and show growth goals while mitigating risk.
• Relationship Management: maintain relationships with Hotel Global Sales, Informa Markets divisions, hotels, and CVBs; conduct site visits.
• Represent Informa's Housing team at industry events and build partnerships with housing vendors.
