Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Regional Controller to lead accounting functions for multiple properties. The role emphasizes month-end close, financial reporting, SOX compliance, and strategic analysis with a hands-on leadership style.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in accounting or finance, 5+ years of financial management experience in hospitality, and strong knowledge of US GAAP. This is a full-time on-site leadership position with comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum 2 years Sr. Staff Accountant experience, or 5 years financial management experience
• Hotel experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting functions with the corporate accounting team
• Oversee month-end close processes including balancing, timely upload of all month end reports
• Participate in monthly review of financial statements and review of all general ledger account classifications
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly journal entries, account reconciliations
• Lead and manage senior staff and staff accountants
• Perform budget-to-actual analysis and forecast preparation
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls
• Produce monthly financial packages and owner reporting
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes across hotels
