Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in nursing from an approved program.
• Current Virginia RN licensure or eligible compact.
• Three years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Willingness to enroll in RN to BSN within two years of start date.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow, bed placement, and transfers in a timely, orderly manner across VCUHS and affiliated sites.
• Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for complex bed assignments.
• Manage One Call Center communications and transfer referrals with hospital staff and transport teams.
