Job summary

Horizon Hospice Care is seeking an Executive Director of Hospice to lead the clinical and administrative teams, shape strategy, and ensure top-quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, and a track record in hospice/healthcare management. You will oversee budgeting, staffing, and quality initiatives, while maintaining regulatory compliance and fostering community partnerships.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of three years in hospice/healthcare management preferred.
• Ability to supervise professional and administrative staff.
• Strong communication and community engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct hospice clinical services and ensure quality outcomes.
• Oversee direct/indirect patient services and clinical staff coordination.
• Guide coordinators and supervisors to improve care delivery.
• Manage budgeting, staffing, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliant medical records and regulatory standards.
• Plan education programs and orientation for new staff.
