Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking an Executive Director to guide the overall hospice operations, ensuring care quality and regulatory compliance. You will hire and supervise qualified staff, establish standards, and drive strategic goals for quality and service delivery.

The role requires deep knowledge of hospice guidelines, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with caregivers, patients, and families while maintaining organizational integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospice programs or similar healthcare services.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and ACHC guidelines.
• Ability to supervise and motivate staff across disciplines.
• Strong communication with community partners and executives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall direction of hospice services and personnel.
• Establish standards of care compliant with federal/state rules.
• Set goals that align with organizational mission and quality.
• Participate in budgeting and operational planning.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and ethical standards.
• Lead IDG meetings and supervise staff performance.
• Maintain reporting to Governing Body and documentation.
