The position oversees field teams, coordinates outreach and encampment cleanups, and drives data-driven evaluation of homelessness initiatives to guide citywide strategies and funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four years of progressive professional experience in public policy or homelessness response.
• One year of experience related to homelessness response, housing programs, housing services, food security, mental health, or addiction.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the City’s primary contact, strategic advisor, and coordinator on homelessness issues.
• Oversees and coordinates the homelessness response field team and encampment cleanups on City property.
• Develops, maintains, implements, and updates policies and standards for homelessness response efforts.
• Reports to the Homelessness Response Steering Committee and prepares agendas and updates on initiatives and funding opportunities.
• Engages with boards, commissions, and community partners; presents policy recommendations and updates.
