Job summary

CampusWorks, Inc. seeks Human Resources/Payroll Consultants to strengthen HR operations for higher education clients. Engagements may be remote or onsite, including interim CHRO/Head of HR roles, process reviews, or HRIS optimization.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in senior HR roles within higher education and strong ERP/HRIS knowledge across Ellucian Colleague, Banner, Jenzabar, and Workday. We offer full-time or 1099 contracting opportunities with flexible engagements across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior HR roles in higher education
• Experience as CHRO/VP/Director/Payroll leader in colleges or universities
• Experience with ERP/CRM in higher education (Ellucian/Banner/Jenzabar/Workday)
• Ability to assess HR/payroll operations and recommend improvements
• Strong leadership and change-management skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR leader for higher education clients, directing HR staff
• Oversee HR/payroll projects and priorities across client engagements
• Assess HR department efficiency and identify improvement opportunities
• Design and deliver training for client teams
• Help clients align policy, process, and personnel with HR/payroll solutions
