Job summary

Cross Country Healthcare is seeking an Account Manager to foster client relationships and ensure effective placement of qualified healthcare professionals in a designated region. You will act as the primary liaison with key client stakeholders to deliver high-quality staffing solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in account management or customer success, preferably in healthcare staffing or home healthcare settings.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or customer retention goals.
• Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage accounts and sales activities.
• Strong customer focus with a proactive attitude toward client success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and ongoing staffing needs.
• Identify contract openings, staffing requirements, and cross-selling opportunities; prepare and deliver proposals and service information.
• Forecast demand using historical data and market insights to align staffing resources with client goals and SLAs.
• Negotiate client bill rates and contract terms; ensure timely follow-up on open orders.
• Collaborate with Sales on larger opportunities and account strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate with Recruiting, Credentialing, Compliance, Housing/Travel, and Billing teams for timely fulfillment of staffing requests and compliant processes.
• Monitor performance of placed staff and address issues to maintain high service quality.
• Document client interactions and orders in internal systems, ensuring compliance with company standards.
