Job summary

Cross Country Healthcare is seeking an Account Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and coordinate the placement of qualified healthcare professionals across our regional accounts.

You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, manage staffing requests, forecast demand, negotiate terms, and drive service excellence to meet client KPIs and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of related experience in account management or customer success, preferably healthcare staffing.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or customer retention goals.
• Experience using CRM software to manage accounts and sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and ongoing staffing needs.
• Identify contract openings, staffing requirements, and cross-selling opportunities; prepare proposals and service information.
• Forecast demand using historical data and market insights to align staffing resources with client goals and SLAs.
• Negotiate client bill rates and contract terms; ensure timely follow-up on orders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Recruiting, Compliance, Housing/Travel, and Billing teams to fulfill staffing requests and ensure client satisfaction.
• Document client interactions and orders in internal systems in compliance with company standards.
