Job summary

Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA seeks a seasoned professional to lead strategic projects using project management, change management, and process improvement capabilities. You will guide projects end-to-end, communicating with stakeholders and coaching leaders across the organization.

Responsibilities include developing communications plans, training leaders in strategic program management, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring compliance and alignment with Ochsner's standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business administration, finance, public health, health care administration or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, business administration, finance, public health, health care administration or related field.
• 5 years experience in Healthcare Operations, Finance, Industrial Engineering, and/or Organizational Development including 1 year project management / change management / process improvement / healthcare experience OR 3 years relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
• CAPM certification or equivalent (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt or Master Change Agent) preferred.
• Preferred: 5 years RN experience; knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word); knowledge of data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Actively leads project efforts through entire project lifecycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing.
• Enables an effective project communication strategy through active communications with project stakeholders and the program manager.
• Serves as instructor for strategic program management training programs.
• Conducts coaching/consulting engagements leveraging project management, change management, and process improvement core capabilities.
• Other related duties as required.
