Ochsner Health System is seeking a senior project lead to drive strategic initiatives across departments. The role focuses on guiding projects from inception to close, while developing communications strategies for stakeholders and coaching organizational leaders in program management.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in healthcare operations or related fields, with PM or change management experience; a Master’s degree or CAPM/Lean Six Sigma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance, public health, health care administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields is preferred.
• 5 years in a relevant field such as healthcare operations, finance, industrial engineering, and/or organizational development, with at least 1 year in project management/change management/process improvement/healthcare experience; OR 3 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.

Responsabilités

• Actively lead project efforts through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
• Develop and enable an effective project communication strategy through active communications with project stakeholders and the program manager.
• Serve as instructor for strategic program management training programs.
• Conduct coaching/consulting engagements leveraging project management, change management, and process improvement core capabilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
