Job summary

Baystate Health in Massachusetts seeks the Manager of Construction Services to oversee construction projects across the health system. You will lead a team of project managers, ensure alignment with the Master Facility Program, and manage procurement, budgets, schedules, and compliance across multiple facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in construction, with expertise in healthcare facility standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years on construction sites in various capacities including managing subcontractors, material testing and quality controls, estimating, safety and risk management, contract administration and participation in owner design meetings.
• Knowledge of FGI’s Guidelines for design and construction of Health Care Facilities and ASHE 170.
• Familiarity with The Joint Commission Environment of Care (EC) Standards.
• Familiarity with Newforma, BIM 360, Revitt, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment with Baystate’s Master Facility Program. Support Project Managers to keep projects on schedule, on budget and within scope.
• Standardize vendor management processes including medical clearance, safety training and facility access. Oversee RFPs, bidding and contract administration for all projects.
• Maintain and update building standards based on Facilities Engineering feedback to reflect best product selection and installation techniques.
• Coordinate with project team to prepare executive summaries at key milestones.
• Maintain a dashboard to track projects and compile monthly status reports. Oversee commissioning process and submittal of as-built drawings and warranties.
