Job summary

Definitive Healthcare is seeking an Engagement Manager to translate client needs into data-driven healthcare analytics solutions. You will ensure adoption, utilization, expansion, and retention of analytic services within your book of business, while monitoring service revenue and delivering consultative insights.

The role requires deep consultative experience, strong technical and BI skills, and the ability to articulate complex analytics to business audiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical RWD/RWE analytics roles.
• 2+ years in a client-facing role (CSM/Insights/solutions).
• Expertise with SQL and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Experience analyzing medical claims (DRG/ICD/HPCS).
• Ability to translate data insights to clients.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with client stakeholders and translate to specs.
• Develop Statements of Work with clear deliverables and timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive service adoption.
• Provide thought leadership on healthcare analytics applications.
• Coordinate client issue escalations and ensure satisfaction.
• Track service revenue, utilization, and margins.
• Identify upsell opportunities aligned with client goals.
• Position service value to clients and manage conflicts.
