Job summary

Americhem, a global designer and manufacturer of color masterbatch and performance technologies, seeks an Account Manager – Healthcare. You will manage large resin-producer accounts, drive revenue growth, and translate customer needs into technical and commercial solutions.

You will build strong relationships, collaborate with internal teams, and own initiatives to meet volume targets, pricing actions, on-time payments, and other KPIs. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Plastics Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in account management, business development or technical sales in plastics/manufacturing.
• Experience with CRM tools and managing a high volume of accounts.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers via in-person visits, phone, email, and virtual meetings to maintain active relationships.
• Develop "high, wide and deep" relationships with customers.
• Meet commercial KPIs including volume growth and on-time payments.
• Build trust and rapport to drive long-term retention and satisfaction.

We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager – Healthcareto support revenue growth by managing customer accounts (large resin producers) and driving sales within the organization. This role requires a technically strong professional with an engineering background, preferably in Plastics or Materials Engineering, who can leverage deep knowledge of plastics materials, compounding, and processing technologies to deliver value-driven solutions to customers.

This role builds strong customer relationships through consistent engagement, proactive communication, and effective collaboration with internal teams. The Account Manager plays a key role in customer retention, satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities to meet evolving customer needs. The Account Manager will be responsible for meeting their volume growth targets, appropriate pricing actions, on time payment and other key commercial metrics.

• Support customers in material selection, processing optimization, and performance troubleshooting.
• Translate technical customer needs into internal development or formulation direction.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, technical service, and operations teams within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Plastics Engineering or a related Engineering discipline required.
• 5+ years of experience in account management, Business Development, Inside Sales or Technical Sales within a plastics, polymer, compounding or manufacturing environment preferably within large resin producers.
• Experience with CRM tools and managing a high volume of accounts is preferred.
