Job summary

MedFlight is seeking a Director of Logistics to provide strategic leadership across Logistics, Fleet, Facilities, Maintenance, Purchasing, and equipment operations. The role ensures resources, infrastructure, and support to deliver safe, reliable service while aligning with the organization’s mission and values.

You will oversee departmental strategy, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics, fleet, facilities, and maintenance operations.
• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety compliance in healthcare logistics.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of fleet, facilities, maintenance, inventory, purchasing, equipment, and logistics operations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leaders to establish priorities, optimize resources, and support operational goals.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to improve efficiency, service quality, cost management, and asset utilization.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and reliable operation of vehicles, facilities, and equipment.
• Build relationships with employees, vendors, regulators, and internal customers.
