Job summary

US Med-Equip is seeking a Director of Operations – Fleet and Facilities to lead nationwide fleet safety, regulatory compliance, and multi-site facilities management. You will oversee DOT files, HOS compliance, asset lifecycle, and supplier partnerships while ensuring efficient budgets and safe, reliable service to hospitals.

In this senior role you will coach field teams, develop safety training, and drive strategic sourcing, reporting, and vendor management across branches, depots, and support

Qualifications

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years multi-site operations experience.
• Experience in fleet, facilities management, and regulatory compliance (DOT, HOS).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet operations and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.
• Lead facilities management, supplier relations, and budget oversight.
• Drive data-driven reporting and executive level presentations.
• Develop and deliver driver safety training programs and governance.
• Manage talent decisions, coaching, and professional development.
• Travel nationally up to 30% and coordinate with HR and insurance partners.
