Job summary

SunCoast Blood Centers seeks an experienced Managing Director of Donor Operations to provide strategic leadership for donor services, recruitment, the Contact Center, and Concierge @Home Donor Services across the service area.

Reporting to the CEO, this executive role drives operational excellence, builds high‑performing teams, and ensures integrated donor engagement and sustainable collection strategies to meet community blood needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of donor engagement and collection operations.
• Experience leading through directors and managers.
• Ability to translate goals into actionable priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for Donor Services, Donor Recruitment, Contact Center, and Concierge @Home Donor Services.
• Ensure integration of recruitment, appointment generation, staffing, and donor engagement to meet blood needs.
• Lead through department heads with accountability for performance and results.
