Job summary

SunCoast Blood Centers seeks an experienced Managing Director of Donor Operations to lead donor services, recruitment, the contact center, and Concierge @Home programs. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive strategic direction, staffing models, and yearly collection targets across our service area.

You will develop high-performing teams, optimize operations, strengthen donor engagement, and build sustainable collection strategies that support lifesaving donations in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership in blood operations or donor services.
• 3+ years senior-level leadership overseeing multiple functions.
• Proven experience leading through directors and managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and accountability for Donor Services, Recruitment, Contact Center, and Concierge @Home programs.
• Ensure achievement of blood collection goals and operational objectives.
• Lead through departmental directors, aligning staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee recruitment strategy, staffing, productivity, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve donor engagement and collection readiness.
