Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field required.
• Credentials in HR/payroll are highly preferred (CPP/SPHR/SHRM-SCP/CEBS).
• 15+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in HR, payroll, or managed services.
• Experience serving multiple clients with complex relationships and delivery priorities.
• Strong technical payroll, HR, and benefits knowledge, with ability to guide specialists.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the service line strategy, operating model, and multi-year growth plan for the Managed Services HRS Payroll & HR practice.
• Translate strategy into differentiated HR and payroll solutions and scalable delivery models.
• Maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders; lead high-impact client matters.
• Oversee service delivery standards, client experience, and quality controls across the portfolio.
• Originate new client relationships and expand existing accounts with executive sponsorship and pricing negotiations.
• Build relationships with brokers and senior leaders; represent Baker Tilly nationally through thought leadership.
• Lead a high-performing team with clear accountability, coaching, and career development.
• Sponsor the technology roadmap for HR, payroll, and related functions to improve scale and value.
• Monitor risk, contracts, and governance to ensure ethical, compliant delivery.
