Job summary

Fidus Systems, a Tier 1 high-tech design house, seeks a technically fluent, commercially driven hunter to drive net-new logos and sell engineering services into semiconductor, Telecom/Datacom, or Aerospace & Defence markets. The role targets key territories across the US with up to 50% travel.

You will build pipeline, leverage partner ecosystems, and position premium North American rates while collaborating with AMD/Intel/Xilinx ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of sales experience in semiconductors, electronic design services, FPGA ecosystems, embedded software, or adjacent industries.
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent.
• Experience selling turnkey design and onshore outsourced staffing for high-speed, high-complexity designs.
• Experience selling within the semiconductor silicon ecosystem is a strong asset.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Familiarity with ITAR or defence/aerospace primes is meaningful for certain verticals.

Responsibilities

• Drive and close new business opportunities selling Fidus design services and engineering products.
• Generate revenue through prospecting, up-selling, and cross-selling within territory.
• Leverage existing partner relationships for introductions to new contacts.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of clients' priorities, design challenges, and roadmap initiatives.
• Position Fidus as an early-stage design consultant in customers' product development.
• Build relationships within AMD, Altera, Intel, and Xilinx ecosystems to generate pipeline.
