Crown Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting department and partner with the fractional CFO on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

The role requires strong technical accounting skills and the ability to manage day-to-day activities while driving process improvements. Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, GAAP expertise, and a CPA/CMA preference.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience with GL ownership.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with accounting/ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• CPA or CMA strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Hands-on accounting operations including journal entries, AP/AR oversight, and bank activity posting.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of all transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and strategic support with the CFO.
• Improve accounting workflows and ERP utilization; develop scalable processes.
