Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a driven Senior Financial Analyst to join its GTM Finance & Strategy team in San Francisco. You will build financial models, forecast revenue, model headcount, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

This is an early-career role designed to scale into a strategic finance leader with exposure to executive stakeholders. Based at our SF HQ, you will partner with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure data integrity and clear narratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or high-growth SaaS.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills; comfortable building from scratch.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and bias toward structure.
• Willingness to ask questions, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
• High ownership mentality and proactive problem solving.
• Active use of AI tools to accelerate work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting infra tracking GTM performance across revenue, spend, and efficiency.
• Support quarterly and annual planning cycles: bottoms-up revenue forecasts, headcount modeling, and budget development with GTM leadership.
• Own budget vs. actual analysis and business commentary for your GTM segment.
• Conduct analysis on key GTM financial drivers: pipeline coverage, rep capacity, churn, PS delivery efficiency, etc.
• Collaborate with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure data integrity and alignment with financial results; maintain Snowflake ARR reporting model.
• Draft memos and slides that communicate complex findings clearly for executives.
• Contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects as priorities evolve.
• Learn the business deeply—understand numbers and the operational context behind them.
