Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a driven Senior Financial Analyst to join the GTM Finance & Strategy team at our San Francisco HQ. You’ll build models, forecast revenue, and partner with GTM leaders to guide decisions and drive growth.

You will work directly with executive stakeholders, develop dashboards, and deliver clear narratives on financial performance and drivers, while growing into a strategic finance leader within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 2–4 years of FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or high-growth SaaS experience.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets modeling; can build from scratch.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; present clearly.
• Bias toward structure; willing to ask questions and iterate quickly.
• Active use of AI tools to accelerate work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting for GTM performance across revenue, spend, and efficiency.
• Support quarterly and annual planning: bottoms-up revenue forecasts, headcount modeling, and budgets with GTM leadership.
• Own budget vs. actual analysis and provide actionable GTM recommendations.
• Analyze GTM drivers: pipeline coverage, rep capacity/productivity, churn, delivery efficiency; summarize findings.
• Collaborate with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure data integrity and align metrics; maintain critical reporting infra.
• Draft memos and slides to communicate complex findings to managers and CFO.
• Contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects; adapt quickly as priorities evolve.
• Deeply learn the business: understand numbers and the operational context.
