Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support our PCI Prefab East Region operations in Anderson, IN. The role blends event coordination, proposal development, and market engagement to drive growth and brand awareness across internal teams and external stakeholders.

You will coordinate events, develop compelling proposals and presentations, and maintain data across systems to enable leadership decision-making and successful customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in marketing, business development or event coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience creating proposals and marketing materials.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer-facing events including logistics and communications.
• Prepare for customer engagements and track attendance and follow-up actions.
• Maintain Opportunities module with estimating team for leadership reporting.
• Assist proposal development through content creation, editing, formatting, and presentation prep.
• Develop slides and materials for scope reviews and customer interviews.
• Attend industry events to identify opportunities and growth areas.
• Track events participation and potential opportunities from industry involvement.
• Coordinate JV opportunities and communicate updates to the group.
• Build relationships with leadership, operations, estimators, finance, customers and partners.
• Ensure data integrity across systems, databases, and reporting tools.
