Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a strategic planning professional to support multi-year plans and drive initiatives through project management, structured data analysis, and deliverables.

Under the Director and AVP, you will organize planning efforts, collaborate with leadership across hospitals and service lines, and develop plans with goals, data, and measures of success. Responsibilities include market analysis, program development, and maintaining strategic planning data sources to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent.
• Five years of related business or administrative experience in hospital or system operations.
• MBA may substitute for two years’ experience.
• Core competencies include collaboration, leadership, planning, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and ability to work in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Organize and support planning efforts for system-wide initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop multi-year strategic plans and annual work plans.
• Develop strategic and operational plans to achieve organizational goals.
• Conduce analysis to identify new program development and business opportunities.
• Maintain relationships across departments to align strategy, planning, and operations.
