PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company, is seeking a hands-on, strategic Engineering Director to lead our engineering organization at Corporate Headquarters in Waukesha, WI. This role reports to the President and blends technical vision with people leadership to build a high-performing function.

Responsibilities include directing long-term strategy, leading NPD, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver quality, cost-effective aerospace interconnect solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience, preferably in aerospace and defense interconnects or a comparable regulated manufacturing environment.
• 4+ years of experience leading and developing engineering leaders and technical teams.
• Demonstrated success leading engineering transformation, innovation, New Product Development, and structured continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Strong technical, business, financial, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization through effective hiring, coaching, performance management, and leadership development.

• Establish KPIs, manage the engineering budget and resources, and champion continuous-improvement initiatives that strengthen execution and efficiency.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Quality, Finance, customers, suppliers, and external engineering resources to solve technical challenges and support business goals.
