Cardinal Health is seeking a visionary Vice President of Strategy & Business Development to steer growth across Specialty businesses in the U.S. market. You will shape strategic initiatives, lead a seasoned team, and collaborate with senior leaders to execute value-creating programs.

You will prioritize opportunities, develop robust business cases, and guide cross-functional teams through complex transactions and partnerships, driving enterprise growth and long-term value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Master's in business or related area strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of strategy experience preferred.
• Experience in Biopharma Services or related pharmaceutics.
• Strong understanding of HUB services, RWE, 3PL.
• Healthcare provider side experience preferred.
• Consulting in healthcare or life sciences preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytics.
• Familiarity with biotech landscape and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for Specialty businesses and link strategies across segments.
• Prepare best-in-class content to support strategic recommendations.
• Anticipate industry evolution and align leadership.
• Identify gaps in portfolio and scalable capabilities.
• Lead business case development for new initiatives.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of strategic opportunities.
• Drive BU M&A processes and post-integration progression.
• Advise leaders on strategic direction and objectives.
• Mentor and develop Strategy & Business Development team.
