Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Business Development Specialist to directly support the Transactional practice, specifically the Private Equity + Investment Funds team. You will collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development group to plan, implement, and promote client-focused initiatives.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment within a hybrid/hybrid office setting in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing preferred.
• Seven years or more of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Strong project and process management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to inform targeted business development efforts.
• Coordinate events, webinars, and speaking engagements including logistics and materials.
• Work with communications teams to promote attorney successes and profile-raising objectives.
• Assist in developing thought leadership and blogs and posting content.
• Identify cross-practice connections to increase internal visibility.
