JGMS Family of Companies seeks a Director of Business Development to drive growth in federal contracting with DoD and DOE clients. The role leads the BD team, shapes strategic plans, and coordinates proposals, pricing, and pipeline management to meet revenue targets.

The candidate will influence corporate strategy, manage BD budgets, and foster key partnerships while guiding market analysis and accquisition activities. Travel up to 25-50% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of directly related experience in business development or federal contracting.
• Proven track record in business development, capture, and winning work in federal contracting.
• Knowledge of DOE/DoD ecosystems and strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a results-oriented mindset.

Aufgaben

• Strategic planning to develop and execute the corporate growth plan.
• Lead the BD team, including bid and proposal activities, pipeline management, and pricing.
• Oversee policies and processes across the BD lifecycle and drive customer satisfaction.
• Analyze industry trends, identify opportunities, and assess funding and competitor activity.
• Develop partnerships and negotiate teaming agreements with partners and clients.
• Evaluate new products or services aligned with market demand and company capabilities.
• Support mergers and acquisitions discussions and contribute to growth strategy.
• Manage BD budget and report progress to the Executive Team.
