Job summary

Ting Labs, the company behind Ting, seeks a results-driven Business Development Director to build and grow the Ting Data Services market across verticals including utilities and public safety. You will own lead generation, qualification, pipeline, forecasting, proposals, negotiations, and closing, with opportunities to recruit strategic partners and scale customer access.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise sales, business development, partnerships, or solution selling.
• Experience in multiple target verticals such as utilities, public safety, government, commercial, or insurance.
• Ability to translate Ting’s data assets into high-value solutions and manage multi-stakeholder deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop vertical growth strategies and market plans for target sectors.
• Generate and close direct customer opportunities and manage revenue targets.
• Identify and enable partners to broaden Ting data access and adoption.
• Lead solution selling with executives and technical buyers across stages.
• Maintain a disciplined CRM, accurate forecasts, and clear pipeline progression.
