Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Business Development to drive growth across AI infrastructure, data-center solutions, and enterprise cloud. This leader will identify strategic opportunities, build executive relationships, and shape complex solutions to meet customer infrastructure needs.

Ideal candidates bring deep knowledge of data-center hardware, GPU/CPU systems, liquid cooling, networking, and ecosystem partnerships. Travel ~25% for customer meetings and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in strategic business development, enterprise technology sales or related fields.
• Experience closing large-scale enterprise, hyperscale, cloud, or data-center deals.
• Strong understanding of rack-scale server architecture, GPU/CPU platforms, and data-center deployment models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth plans across AI infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, cloud, and HPC markets.
• Lead senior-level relationships with strategic customers, including cloud providers and enterprise accounts.
• Shape differentiated offerings for AI, HPC, cloud, and edge workloads; translate requirements into proposals and ROI models.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, engineering, product, operations, and finance.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts to senior leadership.
