Super Micro Computer in San Jose is seeking an experienced GM, Business Development to drive strategic growth across hyperscale cloud providers, AI infrastructure, and enterprise IT while expanding Supermicro’s global data center footprint.

This executive role focuses on originating and developing multi‑billion dollar opportunities, engaging CEOs and senior leaders, and forging strategic partnerships to accelerate AI infrastructure adoption. Travel 50–70% may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
17+ years of executive Business Development experience in AI infrastructure, hyperscale cloud, enterprise IT, data centers, servers, storage, networking, semiconductors, or related technologies.
This role is for an executive Business Development leader rather than a quota-driven sales executive.

Responsibilities

Lead worldwide strategic Business Development across hyperscale cloud providers, AI infrastructure, and global data centers.
Identify and develop transformational opportunities exceeding $1B in total contract value.
Develop go-to-market strategies and ecosystem partnerships to accelerate AI infrastructure adoption.
