Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Business Development Representative in Knoxville, TN to drive product line growth within existing customer accounts by prospecting, setting appointments, presenting programs, and meeting a sales quota. You will transport product samples for presentations and work with a Service Representative to expand opportunities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
• Preferred: 1+ year sales experience.
• Preferred: experience in a similar sales or customer service role.
• Preferred: availability to start within two weeks after offer made/accepted.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue goals; exceed sales activity requirements; collaborate with Service Representative to increase sales and profits.
• Sell a range of products and services to significant customers to achieve sales targets under Sales Manager guidance.
• Develop an annual sales and marketing strategy and budget for the fiscal year.
• Independently collect and analyze data from customers using predefined tools, methods, and formats.
