Job summary

Buckhead Meat of Houston, Inc. is seeking a strategist to analyze new business opportunities, assess customer profitability, and help shape feasibility and pricing for expansion.

You will coordinate with Distribution Services, Purchasing, Operations and Finance to model financial impact and drive decision making. The role involves building proforma projections, supporting RFP responses, and participating in meetings with potential customers to gather data and explain proposals.

Qualifications

• Education requirement as stated: 4-year degree in business, marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and validate data from prospective new customers.
• Provide relevant data and direction to Distribution Services, Purchasing, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to analyze the impact of the new business.
• Validate the reasonability of the departmental input and modify it as necessary.
• Proforma the new business.
• Assist in preparation of RFP submission.
• Participate in meetings with potential new customers to obtain data and explain proposals.
• Analyze the profitability of existing customers and recommend new fees upon contract expiration.
• Proforma “what if” scenarios to improve profitability.
• Continually refine the proforma process to improve accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in the company's strategic planning.
• Other duties as assigned or necessary
