Murphy USA seeks a Growth Strategy & Planning Analyst to support Store Development and Asset Management in developing investment strategies for new and existing locations. You will regularly interact with senior leadership to provide analysis and recommendations on new builds, raze & rebuilds, and performance valuation.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven insights, and the ability to guide site selection with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
• Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 0-4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Analytical and data-driven decision making.

Responsabilités

• Improve and execute the growth plan for new and existing locations.
• Assess trade areas, customer trends, and competitor activity to refine market expansion strategies.
• Lead financial modeling for store builds, rebuilds, relocations, and real estate acquisitions.
• Prepare presentations, analyses, and business cases for senior leadership.
• Manage and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to enhance data-driven insights.
• Partner across functions to align site selection and investment strategies with broader enterprise objectives.
• Lead the design and implementation of performance reporting across various stakeholder groups.
• Assess existing processes, systems, and tools to accelerate and improve quality of decisions.
• Perform other related duties as required.
